NIOS Presents the Sommelier Smackdown

Watch, witness, taste and test. Then judge the masters at work.

Master Sommelier Emily Wines hosts NIOS' monthly Sommelier Smackdown series in which she goes head-to-head with some of the world's top wine, beer and spirits experts in pairing challenges that guests get to judge.

Says Wines, "I'm preparing myself for some friendly competition, but look out, I pair to win!"

Each month, Wines battles the visiting personality in a three-course contest that pairs liquid elixirs with NIOS' acclaimed cuisine. Taste and decide whose beverage reigns supreme. The winner is chosen by popular vote and receives bragging rights for the month, along with a traditional Championship Wrestling belt.
